Serious question. I will be coming into approximately $100K in the upcoming months, and would like to do something with it besides stocks, mutual funds, etc. I have been reading a ton on real estate here lately and always wanted to start my own business, so thinking about going one of those routes. Don’t really want to buy a couple of rental houses, and wait 20 years until I can realize my investment. Would like to turn it into something over the next few years, so that I can quit the rat race. I don’t mind taking risks, as long as I can see the value in the long run.
