Really interesting read on Terry Allen, "who is arguably the first of Lubbock’s legendary post-hippie semi-country singer-songwriters." It talks about Lubbock and how its Lubbock-ness, for lack of a better term, helped create all of these artists and why they need to leave, but ultimately come back. Pretty excited for the Allen Collection, a collection of "sixty-plus years of journals, tapes, blueprints, sketches, and photographs..., to be housed as a 'living archive.'"
