I could probably name a hundred, but Tony Hawk had Josh Brolin on his podcast to discuss the classic 1986 skateboard movie Thrashin' and it reminded me how much I loved that movie as a kid.
It was sooo bad, clearly just a cash grab by a studio trying to capitalize on the popularity of skateboarding, but we wore that VHS out. Being country boys, it was one of the few ways we could see the likes of Hawk, Christian Hosoi, etc actually skating. Also, it introduced me to the Hillel Slovak-era Red Hot Chili Peppers and their rendition of Black-Eyed Blonde blew young kimbrolio's mind.
Anyway, what bad 80s movies do it for you?
