12 1/2 years on the same 50 gallon water heater. There's no point in even knocking on wood, I know I'm on borrowed time. I wanted to see what thoughts you guys have on going tankless. What are some of the better brands/model numbers? I'd say we have a pretty average household--5ppl, 2 1/2 bath home. Staying in this house at least another 4-5 years, probably more.
