Hearing about Anthony Bordain this morning right after Kate Spade and not long after Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell just has my mind spinning. I see people like this and can't understand how everything could be so bleak that the only way they see out is to hang themselves.
I had a friend do something similar last year (different method, same result) and in some ways I understood why, but this is a pretty disturbing trend for high profile rich celebrities to be doing it and it's freaking scary the kind of message it sends to kids or anyone else who might be going through a TEMPORARY rough patch.
Can anyone make sense of this stuff? I didn't watch Bordain all that much but when I did I really enjoyed his work. How anyone who travels the world making tons of money with such a fun job can end it all by hanging themselves (which sounds pretty damn painful and labor intensive) is beyond me.
