OT: Sous Vide - Pre or Post sear?

I took the plunge and bought the Anova wi-fi model. Tonight I am cooking steaks for the first time and cannot decide whether to pre or post sear. I am receiving conflicting opinions in everything I read. What are the RRS opinions? TIA
