So my Father-In-Law is going to be ready to retire in a few years. He owns and operates a very profitable small business. I know only a little about his business, but I have a successful sales background and am confident I could grow it if I so desired. Thoughts or tips? I'm thinking of offering to acquire his business when he's ready.
He and I have an awesome relationship, he is truly the nicest most honest man I've ever known, and more like a dad to me than my own dad. Not concerned about doing business with him. Looking for tips on how to prepare myself, or things to think about when taking over a small business.
Thanks yall!
