Internet company offered me 1GB internet with a discount from what I had been paying for 100Mb. My router just cant keep up, so I am looking for a recommendation for a new router. I could research this stuff to death, but I have a hard time pulling the trigger without hearing what real world (ie. not Amazon reviews) people think. We have a 2100 square foot house, single level, but a big yard. I BBQ using wifi on the back porch, have wifi cameras inside and out, and use a smart irrigation controller.
My main questions are Wifi-6 or don't worry about it? Mesh or Traditional? What specific router do you recommend? I would like to keep it under $200, but would go up to $250 if I had to.
