In case you missed it, Robinhood teamed up with “prediction market” Kalshi to effectively legalize sports betting by exploiting a loophole. You can now bet on the NCAA tournament games via $1 contracts. Will be interesting to see if the states put up with this as I imagine they aren’t getting a cut or at least the cut they get from “legitimate” gambling operators. I know offshore betting sites have been legal but this is not offshore.
