Any of you yahoos got the RA? I have an appt with a Rheum next Monday to discuss. Had TRT labs come back today with ridiculously high platelet count and I've been dealing with inflammatory pain all over (feet, wrists, back, shoulder) for the last few months. No trauma to any of them. Feels like a flair up. TRT Doc said that I could have "an autoimmune disorder that mistakenly attacking those areas". Which is a nice way of saying you might have RA. I've been dealing with a back strain for like ages and it keeps coming back but this time my spine was involved and I got completely locked down for a few months.
I'm old school in the way that I try to ignore pain and don't go to the doc but this is different.
Anyways, I might not have it but the WebMD, labs and symptoms tells me I have a pretty good shot.
