I was wondering how the housing market is in Lubbock right now. Are there any investors having success buying distressed properties and flipping for a decent profit or holding as rentals? I'm Looking for some local Real estate investors and/or agents in the Lubbock area that could shed any light on this. I'm on the lending side of the business with a focus on private/hard money lender in central, S.Tx area. Too many people doing it in the big cities so most of the margins have all been squeezed out. Seems like a smaller town like the HUB city could be a better opportunity or i could be way off.
