Had a pergola built at my house about three years ago and some of the original stain is starting to fade in spots. Anyone have any experience with going back to stain and seal again? What kind of prep work would you recommend?
I've looked into the Thompson's Wood Cleaner, but not sure if it would be a good idea or not before I apply the Thompson's Stain & Seal.
