OT: Peer to Peer Lending

Anybody ever use a Peer to Peer Lending service like SoFi or Prosper for a personal loan? It seems either too good to be true or a scam to provide the low interest rates.

I really want to consolidate my credit card debt and get those paid off. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
