Hoping some landscape architects or others with appropriate knowledge can help me.
I’m doing a big landscaping project including two additions on my patio. Probably going with flagstone additions to my existing covered porch. One contractor says the “right” way to do it is to porch concrete and then lay the flagstone on top. The other says they do it the way I’m used to, multiple layers of aggregate (or DC) with sand, etc.
The cost difference is substantial but not out of reach. Anyone have insight?
