Have 274 sq/ft covered patio what had plywood/cement board/tile floor. Poor drainage around the structure allowed moisture to get under the floor and over time rotted the subfloor.
Bought the house 2 years ago and original owner built the patio. Needless to say, he is probably not in the construction business.
Would like to keep the original cover which is good shape except for one of the corner posts. All four corner posts are on cement piers and not buried. Would I be able to pour a slab with the posts on piers?
Any recommendations would be great.
