in honor of our second amendment rights, and what I fear could be impending legislation to ban certain firearms and limit magazine capacities, I would like recommendations for a Super Tuesday gun purchase. I am going to purchase a gun today, and your feedback will be a big input into my choice.

1. Please no gun ban bullshit discussion. Limit responses to your recommendation and why. I have my own opinion as to what could happen in the future, but this thread isn't intended to discuss doomsday predictions and prepper tinfoil hat stuff.
2. I already have an AR15, I don't need another. Really looking for pistol recommendations.
3. This started because I was interested in getting a Sig P227 Tacops as a bedside gun. I'm thinking higher capacity guns are what will be difficult to get in the future, so I'm focusing on anything with more than a 10 rd magazine for a pistol.
