OT: Magnolia Question

Okay. I'm taking one for the team....My wife is wanting to do a day trip from DFW to Waco to the Magnolia site. So does anyone have any suggestions on places to eat and stay. What's there to do at Magnolia? I know I can google this but want to know what other RR think.
