The California Experiment is coming to a close.
Movers start tomorrow, on Tuesday the wife and daughters head to Houston to see grandparents until movers deliver at the new house and I get to take off for Minneapolis in my wife’s car with our 2 dogs.
Heading out from the Sacramento area, hoping to be able to get through Tahoe on 80, but it’s been a mess with snow for a while now. Plan to make it to Rock Falls, WY the first day then Omaha and a short day into Minneapolis, but as I found out last trip, weather is a bitch for almost the whole route and I’ll have to play it by ear.
Take it easy and split it up or down some Adderall and grind it out?
Looking for book/podcast recs that aren’t too heavy so I don’t fall asleep.
Also, any tips for pet friendly hotel chains or stopping points.
