So I was laid off due to COVID and I am slowly looking for work. I have a few things lined up and even a few offers.
this is more to complain about BS of job searching. The lack of personal contact is frustrating.
I am not talking you blast your resume to jobs and they have no interest and send the form letter, but the hours you put in with assessments and multiple interviews and then nothing or a form letter.
I spent over 2 hours between assessments and then 2 interviews with a company this week. I am fine with not moving forward, but would it be too hard for the person that did 2 interviews with me to send me a personal email thanking me? I guess her time is really valuable and mine is worth shit. I guess her being late to both the phone interview and the zoom should have been my first 2 clues.
Sorry just a rant. Anything else driving people crazy when looking for a job.
