Just finished this book and really loved it. Grew up in DFW and had never ever heard about this story. It's one for the ages.
This was my first Jim Dent book and I see he has written quite a few. One of particular interest is "Monster of the Midway" about Bronko Nagurski. Interestingly enough, I am going to be near International Falls, MN in a few weeks (visiting Voyageurs National Park), and thought that it would be cool to stop by and see the BN Museum there.
Thinking I'll buy this book, I did a little research on it and it appears that JD falsified tons of info in the book and it was advised that readers save their money and avoid it. Has that been the case with many of his other books? Thoughts or comments? Some of my Aggie friends rave about "The Junction Boys." However I prefer to read facts myself.
