Trust me I know TLDR but to anyone who needs to feel better about their week.
Last Saturday wife kid and I got eat at a Mexican food place in Dripping Springs. This is at 9am. We decide to split a Mexican martini so I get up and go walk to bar and order 1. Close out check with no tip and give the guy a $5. in-laws came in town so weekend was a blur. I go to my office on Tuesday and check my bank accounts and the same restaurant had taken $9,370.66 out of my checking account since I had paid with a debit card. Yelled WTH and called the place and of course they are closed on Tuesdays. Call BOA to file fraud and they say try that place first. Show up there Wed at 9am. Meet with i guess an asst mgr and a server. They immediately knew what I was talking about and had my receipt stapled to a paper and it showed I closed out the tab for $9.37. Big mistake on their part but said money was put back that day which uhh no. Said will give them 2 days to fix or else... although don’t know what else but file claim lol. Anyhow got my money put back today!
if anyone still is reading... wife and daughter went back with in laws for rest of week so I am solo. They
left Tuesday. Wednesday morning I get up drink coffee and am playing with dog. About 645am decide to take him out back to go to bathroom. go outside and door closes behind me. Come back and the mofo door closed and the knob has that lock u can turn and was locked even though door had opened. was cold and windy and I am screwed. hop fence and open the garage with code but door to laundry room locked. go to front door but I already knew and locked plus my father in law about 3 months ago put on a new knob and lock that has keypad and app so can see when open etc...battery is dead. stand at my sidewalk and a lady walks by i borrow her phone but no locksmiths answers And she leaves. I was already stressing and this Is the morning having to go deal With restaurant. Go in garage and got a hammer and went back to the back door and literally smashed the glass by the spot where thought it would break and could turn knob. Prob used 65-75% strength 3-4 times but glass did not break. Ashamed to admit did same on glass by front door. Was not thinking clear. And of course had my coffee early so I badly needed to hit the bathroom. Could not hold it so found some dog pee pads in garage and dropped a deuce on a pad and used a bunch to wipe. Thank the lord it was trash day and was able to throw in a sack from garage and put in trash bin outside.
anyhow finally woke up neighbors and borrowed cell phone around 8am locksmiths came at 9 stuck a “special key” and hit with hammer and poof door opened.
F-ing week. and if this was not TLDR have an extra story about haircut but yall would think I am full of crap!
