Has anyone ever used a Raspberry Pi or Pi 2? Many years ago I got an MIS degree and learned a little programming along the way, but I then got my MBA in healthcare management, and have basically never used any of that stuff in the last 10 years. I only recently learned what a Raspberry Pi is, and I was wondering if anyone on here has used one. My basic questions are as follows:
What uses have you had for it?
Was it easy to learn/figure out? (related question, is this something more aimed at kids?)
Does it have a lot of useful capability beyond your uses?
Is it a good learning tool?
What should I know before diving into one of these?
I know that's a lot of questions, but I am somewhat curious/fascinated by them. They appear to be pretty cheap, at least for the basic setup, but I'm not sure I want to just throw money away on it if I will never be able to use it, even if for only entertainment purposes.
Thanks in advance.
