Alright, for those that like good bourbon, Rice Liquor (at Bellaire and S Rice) just got in their barrel of Russell’s Reserve that I helped pick for them back in May when we went to Kentucky.
It’s one of the 3 barrels that we picked at Wild Turkey and was my personal favorite of the two Russell’s barrels we picked. The other one is phenomenal but this one reminded me of old Wild Turkey 8/101, which if you’ve had old turkey, you know what I’m talking about.
It’s earthy, nice spice, and sweet finish.
