This board has been such a great resource for so many Red Raiders to find work so I thought it was worth a shot.
A good friend of mine in Austin who graduated Tech with an anthropology degree around '06 (give or take a year) is looking to make a career change into the brewery profession.
He's a great guy. Honest and hard working as they come. He's been working as an archeologist since he got out of school, the last several years with a nationwide firm in their Austin office.
For many years now though, his passion has been beer. He and his wife microbrew at a pretty serious and regular level for someone that still does it as a hobby. He's volunteered with some breweries in town.
He's looking for a foot in the door but it's a tough industry with few opportunities and seems like leads are largely about who you know. If anyone has any leads or connections and would be willing to pass along a contact for him please let me know. He's willing to do anything that gets him in the door.
