I am all about saving money on energy at the house. Already have the extra insulation, double pane windows, converted almost all of my lights to LED and use a Nest thermostat. Last month my electric bill was $80 for a 3000 sq ft home. I'm trying to get everything and anything done so I can maximize savings over the spring/summer months which are usually the most expensive.
Anyone else doing anything more to get their energy usage any lower? And before anyone claims the price of LED's etc outweighs the savings, my savings over 3 months compared to the same 3 months of the previous year has already past what the lightbulbs cost. So personally well worth it.
Edit: Also have gas powered instant hot water heater, gas range, ventless gas fireplace that can heat my home pretty well without having to use the furnace.
