OT: Gas grill - Infrared or not??

I am looking at getting a semi cheap grill for the house. My old one died and we didn't move it to the new house. Is a TRU infrared grill better and/or worth the money? I am wanting a grill that coverts to natural gas but i am not sure if the infrared is worth the extra $$.
