OT: Foot Surgery (bunion)

I am considering having the procedure done to get rid of the Bunion on my right foot just to prevent any additional foot issues down the road as I get older like hammer toe.

Has anyone had the procedure done?
How long was the recovery?
I’m in Lubbock so who should I use?
