So my Mom has recently taken a turn for the worse, and after trying outpatient rebab she is back in the hospital, currently in ICU. If she does come out of this, Im thinking we are probably looking at long term care, nursing home, etc. Dad passed away about 5 years ago, and she doesnt have much except for her primary residence. Ive come to the conclusion that this is way out of my wheelhouse, so was wanting to speak with at attorney who specializes in this stuff. Mainly want to navigate Medicaid while protecting her home, life insurance, etc. Any advise on a good attorney around here (Lubbock) would be greatly appreciated.
