OT: Considering visit to Yosemite N.P.

In 2018.

Has anyone visited and stayed in the park recently? I am hearing that you have to book ahead for a considerable amount of time compared to other parks.

We visited Glacier N.P. and Yellowstone over the last two years and never had to book ahead 18 months or anything like that.
