It's bye week and kind of slow here at work, so some lunch-hour discussion:

Question for y'all billionaire oil barons and hot-shot sales studs: Who still drives a 4-door sedan?

They were the sign of success when I was a kid in the 1970s (my dad bringing home a big-ass Cadillac DeVille after a promotion at work, Mom shuttling around her real estate clients in her Oldsmobile 88), but with news during the last year that the Chevy Impala, Lincoln Continental, Lexus GS, et al, are toast, I just have to wonder. It's not surprising that 75 percent of all new car sales are pickups and SUVs.

Cadillac has ditched a couple of its sedan lines while throwing a ton of money into the 2021 Escalade (they're starting to arrive at Alderson, by the way. If you're looking for a deal on a 2020 Escalade, Alderson is giving them away. Shoot me a message if you're looking to save about $15,000 or more off MSRP...)
