1. Opening day is a blast. Always is but today was one of the best overall.
2. Jones Stadium looks great.
3. Baker had the kind of day that we all dreamed he would. Couldn't happen to a better person.
4. Defense is better. Even if it is SFA. Filled gaps, made tackles, penetrated the line and kept assignments better. Thank you for Jordyn Brooks.
5. SFA is terrible.
6. Alabama is a semi pro team. Defense is even better than last year. Doesn't even matter who they put in at QB.
7. ZeroU sucks. Can't EVER root for them. Even before Baker. Love seeing Mike Stoops go bonkers. It never gets old. Just don't fire Bob and go after Herman.
8. Mahomes is fun to watch.
9. I think we are 6-0 when ZeroU comes to town. KState will be tough on the road. We beat them if we are healthy.
10. Impressed with Pipkens. If he can stay healthy, he is a great addition. By the way, the reports of him getting "down to 305" may have been exaggerated. If he is 305 today, we have been pumping Dline weights for years. He looked massive.
11. The Tom Herman derby is official. Whoever hires him (LSU/TAMU/UT) will get a potential 20 year plus coach that will consistently recruit, coach and win. First one to hire him and fire their current coach wins. I shutter to think what he would do at LSU installing a real offensive scheme. I really hope the Aggies don't get nervous and go after him.
12. Cameron Batson looked very good returning punts.
