LSU has especially been hitting it out of the park the last four years as far as getting the best in state talent to stay. Now, Alabama recruits the north part of the state, especially the Monroe area, very good. Ole Miss and Miss State get their fair share of good to very good recruits. After that I'd say it's pretty open.
Coach Juluke obviously has some serious street cred. And I would imagine that Gibbs couching at Cougar High should have recruited in the state. Anybody have info on that?
I would imagine that the more success our current crop of recruits from the Bayou state has and the better we do on the field, the more success we should have in recruiting those hidden gems that our state has all over the place. Combine that with the hidden gems that Kliff and company seem to find all over Texas and we should be in good shape.
