updated 4:28 p.m. Thursday
Forecast remains with a 40% chance for rain through the evening. There are some showers and a few isolated storms late this afternoon west of Des Moines and into western Iowa, rotating toward eastern Nebraska.
It's a lower chance than each day the first half of this week, but still the potential for some rain this evening.
updated 9:37 p.m. Wednesday
There is still a decent chance for rain tomorrow, but the good energy for widespread rain that lasts hours won't be there. And it won't be the big storms like over the weekend. It'll stay mostly cloudy, temperature won't move much through the day. High near 68, temp in the mid to upper 60s around game time. 40% chance for rain tomorrow evening.
updated 3:47 p.m. Wednesday
Rain falling now at the game...this shouldn't last too long. Radar shows it's a pretty narrow line, not the massive area of rain we saw this morning.
updated 8:28 a.m. Wednesday
There was lots of rain earlier this morning in Omaha. Right now there's more rain about 25 miles W/SW of Omaha moving to the NE, so more rain is expected this morning.
Better news is forecast models show this round moving through then quieter setup late morning into the afternoon. It's not a guarantee it won't rain, but hopefully is enough of a window to get the game in. The rain potential looks lower late morning into the afternoon with most of the rain/storms up in NE Nebraska, well removed from Omaha. There's still the potential for a brief shower/storm that's enough to cause a delay, but not the huge area of rain like was in place earlier this morning.
updated 9:21 p.m. Tuesday
Looking ahead to tomorrow...good chance for more showers and storms all day. There may be a window for the game to get in...could be at 11 a.m. But the good chance for rain goes all day long. The atmosphere won't be quite as unstable, so it could just be rain rather than storms. But still enough rain to cause a schedule change.
updated 2:00 p.m. Tuesday
Latest rapid-update computer output (new run each hour) keeps things pretty quiet rest of this afternoon. Still can't rule out a brief shower this afternoon or early evening. But then the rain/storm chance gets higher hourly after 8 p.m., highest potential after Midnight.
update Mon evening
Rain and storms are likely at some point Tuesday in Omaha. It's a pretty good chance for a storm during the evening. It looks pretty tough to keep on schedule this week, with a pretty good chance for rain and storms each day.
There could be some severe storms Tuesday. Lightning isn't a factor for severe warnings...but is obviously deadly. Severe weather risks are hail and strong wind.

Pretty typical forecast for the CWS...hot and muggy each day with a low chance for a storm.
6p Sunday near 93, but will feel hotter with so much humidity. S/SE wind somewhat gusty. Slight chance for a thunderstorm. Temperature dropping to the mid to upper 80s late, still really muggy.
