1. The obvious - last year's bad habits resurfaced - penalties, zero TO's and 2 guaranteed TD drops.
2. We will re-group and hammer ISU and Kansas to get to 5-2. We will then win 3 of the last 5 and finish 8-4 which was my pre-season prediction.
3. PM is the man, a true warrior.
4. Most disturbing to me was the continued atrocious play on defense. Watched other teams yesterday and was astounded at the huge difference in defensive play versus how Tech plays. Looked like they were playing a different game. Would not want Gibbs' job. I'm scared that we won't rise to the level of an average defense in my lifetime.
5. Baylor QB wasn't bothered with the nuiscances of a pass rush, receivers being covered by DBs or any hard text-book tackles when he ran. Tech D is a QB's wet dream.
6. Baylor D is way better than I thought. DB's are headhunters.
7. Baylor players play physical with a thugish attitude and emotion we don't have. Wish we were more like them.
8. Tech has no elite speed receivers on the outside to scare anyone. Ever notice Baylor wides run a 10 yard curl an are ALWAYS wide open (even when they aren't playing Tech).
9. Being the no-class scumbags that they are, IMO Baylor's game strategy is to willingly commit penalties - mostly holding - on every play and the percentages will always be in their favor because only a few will be called.
10. If Briles had come here in 2010, we would be Baylor right now with all the warts and baggage. How many of you are willing to sell your soul for better recruits, conference championships and a shot at the NC?
