It's time for the battle near the top of the Big 12 where the Red Raiders have the chance to vault into second place in Tucson. The Red Raiders won the first meeting in Lubbock 70-54 on Jan. 18th. Some numbers on tomorrow night's matchup...

Texas Tech: KenPom 8, Offense 11, Defense 28.

-The Red Raiders are strongly into the top-ten in the NET, KenPom and on Torvik after the seven game win streak in the Big 12. Tech has reached it's season high of eight on KenPom after the win over Baylor earlier in the week.

-A moment to appreciate what Chance McMillian is doing, if you weren't already. McMillian has played 82.8 of Texas Tech's minutes this season, far and away the most on the roster. Chance is doing that while being the 15th best offensive player in the country from KP's ORTG metric, the 19th best eFG% and 11th best TS%. Chance is also carrying a 10.9% defensive rebounding rate. It's almost unheard of the motor he is playing with.

Arizona: KenPom 12, Offense 14, Defense 22.

-Arizona has one loss since Mid-December. Against the Red Raiders. The Wildcats have rattled off five in a row, and are coming off a home win against Iowa State and back-to-back road wins over Arizona State and BYU. This is a team that hasn't lost on their home floor since early in the season when Duke beat them 69-55.

-The picture has changed a bit since we last saw the Cats. G Anthony Dell'Orso has taken a bit of a step back in minutes as freshman forward Carter Bryant has taken some of his minutes, whether that's situational or opponent, it's notable. Bryant was really sharp against Iowa State, hitting four threes, which should be on the scouting report, enroute to 14 points in the OT win.

-PG Jaden Bradley has really turned it on. Been strong defensively and has really gotten the steals going. He posted 7 vs. ISU and 2 vs. BYU. Just look out, gotta take care of the ball.

-Going to be key to win the boards. Tech's defensive rebounding effort has to look like the first half of the Baylor outing, it's fascinating to see Tech rebound so well, but they do. Zona is 23rd in the country on the offensive boards.

Huge one in Tucson. Get your caffeine ready for the 9:30 tip.
