I had a chance this morning to see about 5 minutes of a political show on TV where talking heads from both the left and right sides plow over their same old tired positions. I got on my lawnmower this morning and started to wonder what, if any, changes I have made in any of my closely held personal positions over the past year. We all hold our own personal position statements and going over the big issues to me personally, after all of the yelling and countless posts on here from both sides on several issues, I haven't moved one iota from any truism (for me) this past year. I'm 54-
Have any of you had any changes of heart? If so it would be interesting to see what your age is- I am beginning to realize that no amount of input from another side on some of this stuff will ever affect me. Folks continue to crow on about this stuff so there must be some folks being influenced.
