Yesterday I had a chance to go to coach Flight’s DB Showcase. For those who don’t know coach Flight is a defensive backs trainer here in DFW, he worked with Kobee Minor and is currently with top 2021 target Chase Lowery.
Anyways a bunch of guys were out here, not too many with Tech offers but wanted to share what I saw...
They had QB’s and WR’s out there too as competition, and I’m not sure anyone had a better day than Lofton. Probably a slot as he’s not very tall, but he’s a burner as he says he runs a 4.4 and if you watch him run it’s believable.
Lofton has a tremendous offer list and IMO Tech should get involved here before it’s too late if they still want to take a slot.
Not too much of an update here, Peoples is a 4-star who holds an offer from Tech but says he really hasn’t heard much from the coaches. He said Oklahoma State, Nebraska and Baylor have been in heavy contact. Walked up wearing an SMU bag too, his brother is on the team there.
These two from Frisco Reedy might not have any offers yet but that will change soon.
Washington is a safety who has played receiver his whole career. Hardy is a corner. Both were really good all day, but the thing that stands out is they’re both built like tanks.
Since the camp ended they have gotten follows on social media from coaches at TCU, Texas, USC, Texas Tech and others.
