Over the past two years, Tech has lost to the eventual national champ. Once in the elite 8 and this year in the National Finals. The new normal is to look to Tech to be there at the end of the year competing for a National Championship! Two years of huge leaps for the program--losing hurts--but it hurts much less to have witnessed a program picked 7th in the conference take a one seed into overtime to compete for a National Championship--recommit your financial support and enthusiasm for this program and Chris Beard and Mark Adams will have them on the big stage soon. The upcoming new bench is loaded. All athletic programs at Tech are enjoying the rising tide of the succeeding programs. We will no longer be the little brother athletic program in Texas. We will be ELITE! Twelve hour rule--let the sadness and disappointment out--then wake up recommitted to be great fans. This board can get unruly, immature and over the top with comments at time--now is not the time. Congratulate this team, coaches, staff, all support staff, RRC for a knocked out display of planning on the run. We have FIRST Class folks all around. The New Norm is that Tech is loaded with winners and it will only get better! I have spent the past four days in Minneapolis happily observing a country of Red Raiders showing up to support this team--DAMN IMPRESSIVE. Well done!
