UPDATE: New Mexico OL offer wanted on defense

Tech extended an offer to Rio Rancho OL Grant Hermanns on Monday. Hays has first dibs on the OL, but it appears that Mike Smith wants Hermanns at DE too. I spoke with Hermanns this evening and he shared this interesting development with me. Tech is also not the only school looking at the athletic OL on both offense and defense. He currently plays both ways at defending 6A State Champion Rio Rancho and also just won a State Championship in wrestling.

Hermanns will also be in Lubbock on Saturday to get a tour of the campus and meet with the coaches. Just thought I'd share.
