Not sure if these are done here, but just wanted to introduce myself before jumping into threads and people wondering who tf this guy is..
I just recently moved back to Fort Worth after a two year stint in Arkansas. Grew up all over the country but spent my high school years and college years in Arkansas (Hot Springs/Ouachita Baptist). Became a Hogs fan by default, but have been a closet RR fan for a long time. Moving back to Texas, I figured I better get more involved with RRS.
I work in aerospace sales, so holla at me if you need any engine components. I've been married for 6 years, wife and I are expecting our first kid (son) on August 7th. Been busy busy with work and trying to keep up with all the husband/daddy duties, but hoping to be able to have some down time these next few weeks as we get ready to never sleep again. Big time into cooking/eating. I can tell you every good restaurant in pretty much any area of the country. Not sure if there is a cooking thread here, but if I ever seen one I will post my nightly digs. I played junior golf/college golf, and still like to get out and chase it around every once in a while. When I get free time, I am either in the roping pen or watching a roping/rodeo. I love horses, cattle/stock, western anything. Hunting/Fishing. My folks have a place up north of Decatur that we hunt religiously.
Big Chris Beard fan.. was pissed when the Hogs let him get away (even though it was inevitable he ended up back in LBK). He was at UALR when I lived in Hot Springs, and he had the whole state buzzing. Looking forward to seeing what Wells can do in year two. I know a lot of people here don't care for him and think he is in over his head. Fitting that my other team is the Hogs, because they have made back to back hires that resemble the Wells hire thus far. 4 losses last year by a combined 11 points.. he was a few field goals away from being 8-4. We'll see how he does this year (if they play). Anxious to see Bowman in his first full year as a starter. He showed a lot of promise in 2019 when he jumped in behind Jett.
Anyway, just wanted to jump on and introduce myself. Looking forward to getting to hang out here and talk with like minded folks. And as nerdy as this post sounds, don't worry, I've got a great sense of humor and am not a nerd. @BrynMawr83 can attest.
