The easter bunny brought my 4 yr old daughter a tent and my family(also have a 1 yr old) is going to try our hand at tent camping soon. I tent camped growing up, but not much in my adult life since I have been responsible for gear, food, etc. When we go, we plan to get a spot with water and a 15amp+ electrical service as I am trying to make this first trip as comfortable as possible so that we have a good experience and hopefully can keep going after the pandemic is over. I've already built a packing list and will be making a trip to Academy soon to buy a few things. Right now, I am trying to decide on whether to get a Coleman type propane burner or a portable electric burner. When I was younger, I seem to remember the Coleman stoves being kind of a PIA if there was a breeze, but maybe they have improved. My buddy swears by the ease of his electric burner, but I wasn't sure if any of you guys had a recommendation on type. We are mainly just looking for something to cook breakfast(bacon & eggs). Any insight on this or any other essential gear would be greatly appreciated.
