While it's a long shot for either, much less both the Rangers and Cubs to make the World Series, I can foresee a November filled with much conflict for myself if in fact both clubs win the pennant.
My first love was the Cubbies, my grandparents being from Chicago, first game at Wrigley and much of my family avid Northsiders. Growing up before regional sports networks, I spent most of my summer afternoons in front of the TV with Harry Caray and Ryan Sandberg on WGN.
My grandfather took a job with the Rangers in Arlington and I became a huge fan getting to go with him to batting practice at Arlington Stadium and later the Ballpark around players like Otis Nixon, Dean Palmer and my favorite Ranger, Pudge.
Should both teams make the series, how would you attempt to enjoy November with both teams chasing a title without rooting against one of your clubs. AGAIN it's a long shot but figured it would spur some interesting commentary. Que the Cubs jokes/jabs.
