Plays defensive end for the Sandies, but I would project him as an interior DL. Tonight, he was unstoppable. 5-6 tackles for loss, multiple qb hurries. Totally disrupted the Cooper offense. Coogs have 7 points midway through the fourth. Cooper can't block him. He's very quick and agile for his size and has a good motor. Stays with the play whether it comes to him or not. He does get over-aggressive at times and doesn't play his gap. Overran a couple of plays or ran himself out of it but that can be taught. Can't wait to get him in a college weight room and add some good mass to his frame and have him occupy two defenders.
As for the Sandies running back. He's not fast, quick and anything sexy, but he can play. Tough runner and not afraid of contact. Reminds me of Mason Reed, who played at Cisco and won a state championship, and walked-on at Tech. He's a great high school running back.
