1) The texas tech.com website is just total crap. Why can't they just clean up all the garbage on there and simplify it? I shouldn't have to click through 4 or 5 links to get to a place where I can find what time first pitch is of the baseball game. (mobile version)
2) The car buying experience has really hit a new low. I don't need a new car, but the trade in values are supposedly really high right now so it actually makes a little sense to trade up from a 19 yukon to a 21 yukon, if i can find one. I have a GM supplier code so i can get a little better price than sticker.
4) I"d like to get a double meat double cheese at Whataburger right now, but i know i'll sit in line for 15 minutes or more and then the order only has a 50% chance of being correct
thanks for listening

- unnamed SE Texas dealer w/ multiple locations advertises cars on website that aren't on their lots (either already sold or "in transit")
- Dealer tickles my cl:t to get me to come in by sending a trade quote that roughly resembles KBB, but upon arrival, the appraisal drops by several thousand and well below the range that KBB shows
- My car is really mint condition, no wrecks, 22" rims not scratched, no scratches, good tread, not even a rock chip on the windshield
- I guess they're use to sodomizing people who fall in love w/ the latest model xyz and will give away their trade for rock bottom price
- his trick was to send me on a test drive while he did my appraisal, sadly for him, it didn't work, as i'm not as dumb as his average customer
- By the time i'm walking out, they're offering me within $1k of what I wanted for the trade to begin w/...on condition that "we do business today"
- Dealer adds $2k of bullshit to every yukon...some stupid GPS tracker and plastic film to protect the paint
- Refuses to sell me a car that doesn't have this crap...said $2k not ever mentioned in price of any cars listed on website
- I get it tho...these are high margin add-ons but what a way to do business...literally bait and switch every customer who comes through the door, every day of the year
- Tries to swindle me into paying a deposit for a car that is being assembled but can't tell me exactly what features it has other than white, 4wd, etc
- I didn't need the new car...my car has 21k miles, it has all the features i need (sunroof, country radio, Air condition seats). My kids would tear up the new one anyways.
