I have been wanting to leave Georgetown for quite awhile, the growth is out of hand. Being a top 5 growing town in the nation for a decade straight is exhausting. Obviously I want to move to Lubbock but that isn’t happening.
I’m trying to convince my wife to move to Salado, it’s only 15 minutes up the road. I know a lot of you have left the metro of Dallas to go to some of the smaller more rural towns in the area.
What are the downsides? Because I can’t find any. Schools are better, kids can play all of the sports, not crowded, still plenty to do, it’s quiet etc…
Only thing is HEB and Costco are a little farther. My wife does believe she won’t have any friends lol 🤣🤣🤣
