I don't know Mike Smith. I have never met Mike Smith. I don't understand Mike Smith's situation.
But I do know that he likely had a number of other opportunities in the NFL and chose to stay at Texas Tech, even after not getting the DC job. He moved to position of need as DL coach and is obviously in full support of Gibbs and the direction of our program. He appears to be a man that has put something bigger ahead of himself and HE IS KILLING IT on the recruiting trail. His actions show a man that is ALL IN for Texas Tech.
