The @ Texas game was rough no doubt and shades the way that many if not most of us feel about McLane Carter. What we are being allowed to know definitely looks like McLane will be the starting QB on September 1st. As we brace for what looks most probable he definitely appears to be able to handle both Lamar and Kansas in Lubbock looking at what he did against Eastern Washington and @ Kansas. Even including the TCU stat line he entered the @ Texas start with a stat line of:

I am/we are very biased by what we saw during the 2nd and 3rd Qs in Austin. Is it possible that he has improved since then? Are we too biased against him? What do you think?
