Lot to get into, some insightful stuff. Sorry I'm late, had to chat with Tim Tadlock and those notes are on the way.

Injuries first: Dooda Banks will be back this weekend in Waco. Jordan Brown is hopeful to play, day to day. Tech came out healthy otherwise against Houston. Behren Morton is expected to throw this week in practice, should be a bit more aggressive this weekend. Dadrion Taylor-Demerson “is expected to play” this weekend after tweaking his lower-back against Houston. Jacob Rodriguez, who is still in the cast "is hopeful for K-State, expected for BYU."

On running the ball:

"As a whole, when you have a guy running like Tahj, it is hard to say there's a better offensive player than Tahj Brooks. We're riding the hot hand. You saw what we were talking about with him and Cam'ron. It has a lot to do with our offensive line as well."

About the 2-3 start:

"They're (players) are handing it a lot better than me. I'm extremely frustrated. I enjoy the win but it was almost like being able to take a deep breath."

On O-Line:

"Against two, really good EDGE rushers. No. 9 is going to play in the NFL. Off the edge, that's where tow of their best players are. Anytime you run the football and the defensive line, they don't have the opportunity to pin their ears back and really come after you. And so more balanced attack is going to lead to big plays it's going to lead to bigger plays in the passing game and it's going to lead to a clean quarterback and pocket."

On youth in secondary & linebackers:

"Excited with the way Ben (Roberts) is playing, he's been really consistent. I was excited about the way Dingle played. When Rabbit went out, we expect him to play this weekend, but you have a young guy going out there at free safety. I would say that there were some busted coverages but in the second half I think we made better calls."

On Bryce playing ILB:

"Moving Bryce to ILB made such a difference. Those inside backers do so much with our defense and get us in positioning calls. Just creates even a bigger voice than what he had at outside linebacker, and so my expectation is to keep him in that room, especially until Jacob gets back. And, you know, I think it strengthens us. You're getting Jesiah back. So you're gonna have four really strong inside linebackers. He played Will linebacker last week and I want to see if he can do some Mike stuff so we have depth behind Ben Roberts."
