Most impressive road win? Take me through it: "That's a physical team, a really good defensive team. One of the best defensive teams in the country, one of the best in our league. The biggest thing going into this was we couldn't play this game sideways, we've got to play with purpose on offense because their defense leads to their offense. So, neat passes, don't be careless with the basketball. To turn it over nine times against a team that needs them to create offense. Then the other part, let's battle them on the glass, create extra opportunities. We were missing to start the game, 0-for whatever, I don't know the number but it wasn't great. I loved our ability to fight on the glass and create extra opportunities. Ultimately, we've got to win with our defense and get stops, they were bullying us in the paint but we battled back and showed some grit in the second half."
Serious juice off the bench, take me through Christian and Kevin's night: "Those guys can start. That's the mentality that we have on our staff. Those guys are an important part on this team. Their ability to come in, today especially, they were really engaged. Sometimes it takes a minute to figure out the game but the second they checked into the game it was full go mode. The offense was what everyone is going to want to talk about but I just thought their urgency defensively. Overton was really physical guarding the ball and they both got a little fatigued at the end but man did they give us a great lift off the bench."
What's the secret on the road?: "That's the heart of real teams. You're there for each other when it's the most difficult. The weird thing about playing at home is everyone expects you to do good, so it's a different comraderie at home. It's like man, we're supposed to win. Playing on the road, it's a real galvanized approach that our guys have, it's just connected. These guys care about each other, I think that's the X-factor on any team. Do they love playing for each other? These guys do. I'm on guys in these huddles. The way I can tell, when I'm getting on guys they're not saying 'don't get on me' they're there with each other giving each other five, saying let's go."
