Personally, I'm not sure I want Tubby to accept the extra $1MM/season just because I'm not sure it's good value.
However, I am excited that TTU as a university currently has the strength to pull that together, and to me that is a great sign for the future that we will do whatever we feel is necessary to bring good publicity through athletics and academics to Texas Tech and Lubbock, TX. We are putting our money where our mouth is. We are in the midst of a major shift in the perception of our beloved institution IMO.
